Xmas 2023 @MIND
In the land of innovators, the Milan Innovation District, I met a traditional Santa.
He was just a bit in advance on the schedule as he knows that innovators tend to anticipate the future so he thought it would be better to come a couple of days before.
Santa Claus, always one to stay ahead of the game, decided to make an early visit to the land of innovators. After all, he figured, these inventive minds were likely to have their stockings hung with care well in advance.
As he soared through the sky in his sleigh, he couldn’t help but admire the sleek, futuristic skyline of the innovative land below between the tall white Galeazzi and the iconic shape of Human Technopole. The buildings twinkled with the latest in energy-efficient lighting and sustainable architecture, and even from high above, Santa could see the hum of creativity and ingenuity that permeated the air.
Touching down at the Nord Village, Santa was greeted by a group of curious inventors, startuppers, VC investment managers, students and employees who had been eagerly awaiting his arrival. They had already developed a special landing pad just for his sleigh, complete with state-of-the-art navigation technology and a self-cleaning mechanism that impressed even the jolliest of gift-givers.
As Santa made his way through the bustling streets, he couldn’t help but notice the innovative spirit that infused every aspect of the land. From self-driving cars zipping by to drones delivering packages with pinpoint accuracy, it was clear that these forward-thinkers had a knack for anticipating the needs of the future.
When he finally arrived at the Hive, a crowd had gathered, eager to catch a glimpse of the man in red. As he handed out gifts to the wide-eyed children and curious adults, he couldn’t help but chuckle at the clever gadgets and gizmos that surrounded him.
“Looks like I arrived just in time,” Santa thought to himself, knowing that in a land of innovators, the spirit of anticipation was always in the air. And with a twinkle in his eye, he bid the inventive land farewell, knowing that their Christmas dreams were not only in good hands but also in the hands of those who were already dreaming of what might come next.
